If you get a chance, head on over to Jim's Smokin' Que in Blairsville, Georgia.  They're barbecue is deeeeeeelicious.  Kranberry Kathy highly recommends the ribs, but you'll need to call ahead in the morning and reserve yours  - that's how good they are!  If you're in Dahlonega and need a bbq sauce fix, Cranberry Corners now carries Jim's sauce.  Many grilling aficionados in town have declared it the best they've ever tried.  Add a bottle to one of our custom gift baskets - the 'Butt Sauce' paired with some Poo-pourri would be hysterical!  

And for dessert - how about some candy by the pound?  That'll get the kids hyper and keep your dentist peeved!

Lots to do in Dahlonega this summer...

It's time for summer in Dahlonega and we couldn't be more excited!  One of our favorite festivals, the Mountain Flower Festival, will be held on the town square this May 19th and 20th.  After that, there's the 4th of July fireworks, which never disappoint.  With so many great vantage points in our town, you couldn't pick a bad spot to watch them if you tried!  And as always, the Crimson Moon  always has a great schedule of music all summer - both local and national acts.  

Looking to do something that's super chill and family-friendly?  Why not go tubing down the Chestatee River?  Appalachian Outfitters is on your left right when you start to climb Crown Mountain on the way into Dahlonega.  Just look for the bright yellow gates!
